Story
LEAP Talent Incubators was created as a response to the challenges facing Emirati youth graduates in securing employment opportunities. Over the past decade, factors such as lack of clear entry pathways for fresh graduates, higher education that did not serve the needs of the industry, and increasing automation - all exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic - have severely restricted opportunities for those coming out of universities.
Project You recognized the dire need for a sustainable, impactful, and scalable framework to solve this challenge. Drawing on their expertise and experience working with thousands of students in schools and universities over the past three years, they came up with the idea of building an incubator for talent that could provide young graduates with the skills, knowledge, and experiences they need to thrive in different industries with full confidence.
The LEAP Talent Incubator program is designed to help Emirati youth navigate the transition from academia to the workforce. It provides a comprehensive incubator for talent that builds monetizable skill sets, educates on social and emotional skills, and engages graduates with industry experiences.
By completing the LEAP program, learners are better equipped to pursue high-paying jobs that match their skills and interests, ultimately empowering them to achieve greater success and impact in their careers.

Walturn's engineers worked closely with Project You’s team to address these challenges. Our team was responsible for full-stack development, bug fixing, testing, designing wireframes and getting them approved from the client. Our engineers held daily standups with the client, discussing progress and addressing any issues that arose.
We used a Jira board to view progress, and our GitHub was connected to their Jira, making it easy to track progress and collaborate with the client's team. Our team worked diligently to ensure that the web app was tested thoroughly and met all of the client's requirements.
