What is React?
React is a JavaScript library created by Facebook. It was released in 2015 and is used to build user interfaces. It's a simple way to create dynamic web pages by combining HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
React works by defining components and then connecting them together using props. ReactJS is mainly utilized to build visual, interactive websites and web apps.
Why is React growing in popularity?
Currently, over 4.8 million websites are built using React and this number is growing sharply. React, on average, has 14 million weekly downloads.
So what do you reckon is the reason behind why so many companies and developers have adopted React? React is a flexible framework whose codebase is quite easy to maintain, saving a huge chunk of money and time for businesses.
Moreover, React has reusable UI components that can be used in multiple instances in an application. This eases the development process for programmers and reduces development time.

1. React Day Berlin 2022
React Day Berlin 2022 is the event’s fourth edition that, according to the organizers, “celebrates all things React, and meet devs from industry-leading companies as well as the creators of your favorite open source projects.”
Besides talks on React 18, JavaScript Technologies and Open Source, React Day will serve as a platform for enthusiastic React developers gain insights into the industry, acquaint themselves with technical problem solving and also bolster their soft skills.
This year’s event will feature 800+ in-person attendees, while over 5,000 plus people are expected to attend it virtually.
On December 2 at 09:10 am CET, the in-person plus remote event will commence with the opening ceremony, followed by Nik Graft’s talk on ‘The Weird Things about React’. Other topics on the agenda include ‘Fighting technical debt with continuous refactoring’, ‘Concurrency’, ‘React 18 benefits’ and Shug Ding’s talk on Nextra 2.0, a guide to creating Next.JS site in just 5 minutes!

2. React Day New York 2023
React Day New York is an in-person exclusive one day front end conference that will also be available on Big Apple Live. Besides talks on React, frontend engineering and problem solving, the conference will be give you an optimal opportunity to network and connect with the leading Engineers and a talented developer community.
React New York is sponsored by Crystallize, StoryBlok, Swim, Netlify, Formidable and Platform.sh. The event will feature talks from Matthew Gerstman, Aleksandra Sikora, Kaleb McKelvey from Netflix, Donavon West, Emily Thomas and many more. 3. React Miami 2023
April 2023 will witness the first ever React conference in Miami as part of Miami Tech Month. Held in partnership with eMerge Americas, G2i and JS conferences will be organizing React Miami, bringing together industry leaders and sharing insights on React’s latest updates.
Around 20 speakers and 500+ people are expected to attend the event to learn more about React and network with fellow developers. While you have to purchase tickets to attend React Miami, the organizers have offered a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Scholarship which will allow unrepresented and people with low financial status to attend for free.

4. React Summit Amsterdam
React Summit is an annual conference on all React things, featuring thousands of React enthusiasts, front-end developers and full-stack engineers from all over the world. React Summit Amsterdam is an hybrid event, that will allow both in-person and virtual participation.
This conference will feature 60+ speakers, and 1500 people are expected to attend in-person, whereas 25,000+ enthusiasts would be virtually attending the event.
From May 29-31, 2023, React Summit Amsterdam will organize an in-person Pro workshop and free remote workshops throughout the month of June. These workshops will be an ideal opportunity for you to learn about frontend frameworks like React, TypeScript and Remix from the instructors.
The main event will commence on June 2, 2023 at 9:00 am CEST, which will be an in-person + remote day. June 3rd will be an hangout day and attendees will get to explore Amsterdam via both walking and boat tours. June 6th will be a remote day that will feature a QnA session, streaming of BaseCamp and Summit tracks, and discussion rooms.
